    alarm help

    right guys i need some help my alarm keeps going of and i want it to stop if i turn the alarm of there like a quiet alarm going of near the front passanger side and this is whats setting the alarm of how do i fix this cause i cant leave the car open all night its a mk4 2.2

    The quiet alarm in the passenger wheel arch is the power sounder thats a common problem on the astra g with a factory alarm.

    You could strip down the whole wheel arch and remove it while the ignition is switched on but for tonight i'd recomend the following......

    Start the car and wind down the drivers window, standing outside with the door shut switch the engine off and then lock the car with the key in the door holding it to the close postion to shut the open window. You won't be able to deadlock it though

    i take it the power sounder will still make the quiet alarm sound and is there anyway of just turning it of

    Whenever you disconnect it you have to do it the way it says in the how tos otherwise it might go off and then yo wont be able to stop it

    no probs m8 il do it the way you said to close it then get some batteries for it and change them are they the same batts on the how 2 or am i better going to vx to get them
