    Halfords employment requirements...

It seems that halfords have some kind of requirement for their employee's to have no sense of humour and have no common sense.

Was in my local one earlier (brown bag on my head before going in, just in case!!) to see about getting some pipe's and connectors I was needing for the car. The halfords parts desk sent me over to the ripspeed parts desk, who sent me to the halfords parts desk!

So, being in a strangely good mood, I thought I would have a wee laugh with them. I asked about the pipe and they couldnt help with that so I asked about 5amp wire and screw connectors. he took me in the general direction of where he thought they were and was looking. I found them first, picked the connectors up and said 'These are what I am looking for, do you know where they are?!' (Pretty obvious as I had found them and they were in my hand!)

Reply.... 'I have not found them yet, I am still looking. Whatn kind is it you are after?'
