First one is,i am looking at buying a dump valve ready for fitting when i get the car.I am guna get a baileys dump valve.Do i have to remove the oem dump valve first as suggested in zlet.co.uk?i read somewhere that its fine to leave it in and just install. Is that right?Like i said newbie need help>

DV's seem to be liked by some people and hated by others on here,

in my experience on my Z20LET it has not had any bad effects on the car,

The standard OE DV is not loud, i only ever heard mine with the bonnet up, at full revs and then was a whisper,

Its best not to remove the standard one but just block it using a one way valve, have a search on here for dump valve and one way valve and all your questions will be answered

    yep basically,

you dont have to get a powerpipe, could just cut your original one, all down to personal preference,

i got the new style pipe from a astra H, does the same job as a power pipe but only costs £29.48+VAT
