Arrow My New Mods (56k warning)

I have had 3 weeks off after finishing university so have been busy with some modifications, firstly Irmscher Armrest.

Boost, Intake Temperature and AFR gauges

Then I started on a sub and amp install. I wanted to keep as much boot space as possible so decided to make a custom fibreglass enclosure.....

    Firstly boxing of complicated shapes

    Covering Area with masking tape

    2 Layers of fine tissue

Built up with 5-6 layers of coarse glass

    Creating MDF Front

    Fitting MDF Front to fibreglass

    Filling Gaps and smoothing edges

    Fully Carpeted

    In the car

Very happy with the finished result even though it took a lot of hours work!

    Tom

Nice. Like the way you've done the boot build... it's still got that kinda stock look.... which I like

The volume of the box worked out at about 25 litres, ideal was 21 but this did not leave enough clearance for the sub. Would have wanted to stick with an alpine sub but the jbl is very shallow meaning I could keep the depth of the box as small as possible. If alpine release a nice shallow sub then I will probably swap it in!

Cheers for the comments guys, in total probably took about 4 days of solid work but I spaced it out over a couple of weeks so was not too much hard work.
