remind me to never do that again!

just finished derestrictin the airbox and fitting the new Veccy C pipe with the adapter.

    omg wot a f**K on!

it seems like the raditor pipe just wanted to get in the way constantly its propper tight between the raditor pipe and the pipe u just fitted.

were i derestricted the air box on the bottom there is alittle square were the pipe clipped in i ant managed to get that covered with the Veccy C adapter it wont make any difference will it? its only small cuz i cant seem to get the adapter to move over it at all its so incredibly tight. Was this the same for everyone else cuz i dont even know how i got the thing back in!!!

not drove it yet but had engine running and you can hear it suck which is different not sure if im lookin forward to test driving it yet tho lol

Yes it's fiddly and a tight fit.

The hole wont make any difference but if you want it to look neater you can patch it up with black insulation tape.

i was thinkin about doin that as well.

just been out for a test drive not sure if its made any difference that i can notice really apart from its smoothed the acceleration out in 1st and 2nd and possibly 3rd is that what people ave noticed?

im still yet to get a K&N panel filter if that will help in any way.

It won't make the car "quicker" just smoother accelerating.

A performance filter will help, but again don't expect it to turn into a rocket.

Try it on a 2.0DTi. There's approx zero spare space under the bonnet, and a huge rad pipe in the way. Took me a long time, a lot of blood and sweat to get mine fitted.

yeh i think ill do the same i still need to secure the intake pipe with a self tapper as its just resting on the raditior at the moment.

i think the next mod after this will be the suspension kit. I want some control now. lower it 40mm i think.

Im happy with how its all went like i still need the panel filter as well but ill wait till i have a bit more money for that.
