    what tyres to buy

    does anybody know what would be a good tyre for the astra coupe turbo,i do mainly alot of town driving but sometimes i like to put my foot down

    avons are good and cheap,
    proxes are v good but cost a bit
    goodyear are the best (imo) but cost a wedge
    and yoko a539's are the best for burnouts
    fly like a bird in water, swim like a fish in the sky, & if U wanna get high, then clime a ladder, if U wanna get low, go underground.

    I fitted goodyear eagle F1's and it transformed the car, well worth the money.

    anything I say is irrelevant due to going through tyres so fast ( down to damage not wear sadly )

    personally I rate Uniroyal's rainsport series as it's always wet up here.

    I've got Goodyear Eagle F1s all round on my Coupe Turbo and they are without doubt the best tyre I've had on a car. Excellent grip in the dry and wet and don't seem to wear down too quickly.

    Only downside is the price, but then rubber is an area worth paying out on IMO.

    2007 Metro Blue 5 door Mk5 Elite 1.7CDTI
