    195/40/17 ? Never even knew u could get that on a 17rim.

    As said already - u want 215/40.

What width is the rim in question? Would be expecting about 7 or 7.5 but with a 195 feck knows what youve ordered.

Wheel looks good nevertheless....think its time to get back in touch and get the tyres changed!

Oh mayb that is right then. Isn’t it 195 for 15s or 16s?? Cos I was going to get 16s but these type don’t come in 16s 5 stud. I didn’t even ask that to be honest just assumed that it.

205s don't look right on an astra IMO - 215s are needed. Thats what they fit as std on cars with 17s.
    Previous Astras: 1994 Cesaro 1.8 16v | 2002 SXi 1.6 16v | 2001 Coupé 2.0 Turbo | 1999 LS 1.6 16v
    Other Vauxhalls: 2001 Vectra 1.8 16v| 2003 Vectra GSi 3.2 V6 | 2005 Signum CDTi 150

215's will fill out the arches that little bit more, 205 will work, but don't quite look the same.
