Anyone considered changing the radiator for an alloy one with a smaller better fan?

Seems ever since i fitted my courtenay FMIC im always looking at my rad fan which is near enough touching my turbo and thinking about getting it changed. Can't be too difficult once the rad is out the car too get one made up in alloy, but i more interested in finding a better smaller fan so i can create a bit more room under my bonnet, don't like them being so close. Has anyone looked into this?

Get a more efficient one that can be made thinner, and free up some space that way

Hmm, but an alloy one would look the muts nuts. Defintely thinking of smaller fan as the standard one is fecking huge.

Maybe 2 smaller ones like the PACE IC comes with to replace the other one.

Think the only thing you need to watch out for is they are powerful enough but i'm sure a specialist could assist you in that

Anyone got any idea how much air the standard one sucks through the rad or what rpm it spins at when its running?
