    GSi spare wheel question

Can someone, preferrably with a GSi do me a favour.

Can you have a look and tell me what size the tyre is on the spare wheel.

When I bought the GSi, it didn't have a spare. Got a rim from my local VX dealer for the small sum of £28, all I need now is a tyre, but I'm not sure what size.

All I know is the rim is 16"

    Cheers

what width is the rim? is it a space saver?

Vectra Cs use a 115/75/16 IIRC.

Its not a space saver, think it may be an alloy. Same as the coupe I think.

    Its 7" wide.

Can you tell me what tyre weld you use and where to get ot. I looked in Halfords the other day and they only seem to do stuff for cycles?

First time I took my zaf to Plymouth some thieving git nicked my spare wheel and Ive been running around with a can of tyre weld eversince.Hope i never have to use it mind coz A) Once you've fixed your tyre with it , you need a new tyre as the weld deems the puncture unrepairable. B)I've got my doubts regarding its effectiveness tbh but i've never used it before so its a bit unfair for me to condemn its repairing ability.
