    flatted and mopped?

hi all will have some money to spend at the end of the month and besides just blowing it on stereo equip etc, i am interested in gettin my car flatted and mopped? (i think that is correct) i heard that they rub your car down lightly then mop it back so paint looks like new, has anyone had this done? and are the results as good as ive been told. also will it remove any scratches? cheers Paul

Flatting the paint is when u have an orange peel effect on it. Flatting basically makes it smooth Mopping.. they use a cutting compound and buff the car over. Thus losing minor scratches and basically making it look like new. Dont try mopping DIY.. as it can go wrong and u can burn the paint.
