    Help with Knocking - please

I have seen some threads about this on here but could do with some better answers, I know vauxhalls are known for this as my vectra did same. I keep getting a knock - clunk noise at lower speeds more when turning, its been to local dealer twice but they say they cant find anything wrong, Going to book it in at another dealer to see what they say. Anyone had the same and found out exactly what it is and got it fixed? Its 53 plate mk4 gsi with 25k on clock.

When I turn the car full lock and drive the car in reverse or first gear it makes a squeeling sound. Also got a rattling coming from somewhere near the back.

Ive had garages look at it before they could not find anything. Although the rattling is getting worse so it sounds like what ever it is will fall off soon. lol Gonna take it into the garage again after pay day.

Not down to the disc brake retaining screw? Sure I've read in the pass
if the screw is missing or loose, the disc can move slightly and create
    a knocking noise...

    Worth a check...

is this coming from the front of the car? and if it is does it only happen when ur turing one way and not the other?

just asking cos my m8 had a similar problem with his T8 and it was a knackered cv joint causing it

Mine's doing the same - my problem is the link bars from the strut to the anti roll bar. New ones are ordered, to be fitted with the rest of the suspension bits.

If its knocking when you turning and accelerating then theres a good possibility it will be your CV joint - check your CV boots for any signs of splits and leaks - Try and diagnose which side of the car the noise is coming from - but yet again check all your CV boots ect.
I dont own a vauxhall, i own another vw

Dont think it the disc. It was fine when i first brought but after about 4 weeks it started knocking. I think it either Anti roll bar bushes or drop links, as this was the same on my vectra, but the garage say s there fine.

It sounds like it coming from the front, i think it more on the drivers side.
