Who has fitted 3-4 point harneses

Im going to attend some track days in the future so was thinking about fitting some removable 3 or 4 point harnesses and have some questions.

Will the eye bolts that come with them directly replace the current seatbelt bolts?

Has any one got any pics of harnesses fitted into there car?

Has any one had any problems fitting harneses to thier astra?

    yes
    yes!!

rear bolt wouldnt come off turned it off with a torx by mistake used a breaker bar to remove in the end. new bolts should work fine in the old holes. dont forget to tork them up tho. not easy to undo/remove imo either in or out.

    on original seats or buckets?

    that help?

no not pics of the actual fixing and they are no longer in the car so cant take pic. i see what you mean. you want eye bolts to unclip the harnesses. should be ok with that, i assume you want to still be able to use ure rear seat belts, so just replace the originla bolt with the eye bolt to clip onto when attaching harnesses.

Yes my plan was to replace the current bolts with eye bolts so I can clip them in as and when. Its just that Im sure a read a while ago of some one saying that the distance between the bolt and buckle was to small and they couldent take up all of the slack. But Im guessing you didnt have that problem?

im not sure what you mean.

i didnt have eye bolts just simple bolts. i wanted to still use rear seats (its possible lol just hard!

so removed existing bolt, kept breacket in place, put harness bracket over and replaced with the longer bolts suppiled in the sparco harnesses. worked fine no slack at all

I ment the distance between the bolt on the seat and the buckle on your lap. Im guessing it must be ok as you had no problems. Why did you stop using them?
