    225/40 18 tyres on a coupe...any problems?

    just about to order my wheel and trye package, will these fit ok on the coupe?

    yea think it needs to be 225/35 18 for a coupe

    i have 225/40/18 on my gsi turbo and they catch,im looking to but new tyres 215/35/18.
    use to drive arden blue gsi turbo.now sold
    239 bhp and 244 lb/ft
    bought astra cdti xp 150

    dont quote me on this but i think you would need 215/35/18 to keep the radius but 40s will be fine thats what im going for 215/40/18 keep a bit of the comfort

    215/35/18 is the safest bet mate, tried and tested, ive got it and lowered about 50mm with no rubbing at all,

    i had 225/40/18 on my old coupe, rubbed at the back. best bet is 215/35/18.
