    New Mods fitted................

Decided to get round to fitting my new mods today.

Got these for princly sum of £62 on eBay, took nearly a month to actually recieve them but anyway.....

Regal Powerpipe and Bailey Dump Valve

    Before:

    After:

Fitting the pipe wasnt exacly easy, its meant to be a snug fit but **** me it took a while to lever it in. At least it aint coming out lmao

You can also see my Vectra airbox and Samco's i fitted a couple of weeks ago.

Toaken it for a spin, drives and idles good but the only thing is when letting off the throttle slightly it does jerk somewhat, i was expecting this after reading other peoples experiences of a DV, its fine on full throttle when letting off but not when say pootling round town.

Followed the info from various peeps on fitting the one way valve from Halfords and the same with the DV fitting on the Regal sheet that came with it. it says to use the T piece on the rubber pipe on the OE DV pipe, buggered if i can find a T piece on it especialy where it says (where the 1 way valve is)

wat do you do with the one way valve? whats it meant to do? does it stop the jerkiness? have you got your oe dump working with the bailey? looks ver good those standard power pipes look terrible in comparison!! good work

The 1 way valve stops the air going back out of the OE valve thus disabling it somewhat. Usually you have to cap off the OE vacum pipe but this means you dont have to.

Got to work on the Jerkyness.
