    arghh bonnet lifters

    tried fitting some today and think i may have bent one side on the bonnet will find out tommorrow for sure well annoying.

    souldn't have tried to fit them should have got the brother-in-law to do it he knows more then me will see if he can do anything about it tomorrow night.

    how did u manage that? take it u put the brackets on the bonnet hinge on upside down, i did this but slowly lowered the bonnet to check the fit, noticed the problem and fixed it so no damage was dun

    they the LMF/INXX ones?

    I fitted some to mine, Shocked at the fitting kit!

    I got some washers the right size for the wing mount knuckles,

    Also they bend the innner wing if you do them too tight as there's no spacer between the 2 skins.

    A captive nut plate (like the normal wing ones) would fit in there fine, with a self tapping Knuckle like the MK3 Kit would have been much more professional.

    yeah I did.

    was hoping I had some knuckles left from my Cav/Astra3 kits, to do it properly.

    MK3 Astra Lifter fittings


    Nearside is a straight fit.


    Offside had to be cut in two as the inner wing has a tab sticking out.
