RR Result - Weird torque delivery

I had my car RR'd at PVS yesterday and it's making okay power, about as much as expected but the way the torque is delivered is very strange. It comes in strong at 2,000rpm but after that it is very up and down before dropping off at around 4,500rpm. The power is delivered constant and looks good apart from a small dip just after 4,000rpm.

The operator said it looked like it had an airflow problem and asked what filter I had. I have a K&N panel. Is there anything else that can cause this, as I always thought that the K&N panels were quite good?

It's on paper at the moment at home.

Not dropping off to significantly, just the wavey torque delivery really.

Came in at 262lb/ft at 2,000rpm, then goes up and down say 15lb/ft either way before the drop off

Yeah, it was the portable RR. He seemed to think the readout suggested there was something wrong with the air filter. I will get the graph posted up tomorrow.

Not all RR's are accurate. Take it to a static one and see if that gives the same reading.

sorry to say but they are a bunch of numpties..... best off pretending you never used it at all tbh.

It makes me cringe watching cars on that thing, no cooling fan on a scortching hot day your car doesnt stand a chance, normally cars just over heat on it.

would they have pre-loaded the RR before hand? Bearing in mind Zlets only produce decent RR's when they are underload(resistance at the wheels) And yes, lol at the desktop fan they had to cool the cars ROFL, I have better cooling on my PC!!! Not good at all for the cars.
