    Dashboard Leds

    Right i changed all these yesterday and i think "shambles" is the only way to describe it. I changed the MFD, Heater controls, Dials and odometer yesterday and the only ones that actually worked were the dials and they arent great!

    So heres the list of problems;

    I changed all the LED's to white ones, when i put white in the heater controls i'm getting a yellowy colour, i'm assuming there some sort of filter? How have people got around this?

    The MFD & odometer aren't bright in the slightest, but now i'm not sure if its the LEDs or that i connected them wrongly, altho i'm sure i tested it. I cant be bother to rip it all out again so i was just checking if there;s perhaps a more powerful brand of twist fit led needed?

    That appears to be all my problems except the dials are now violet insted of white as UltraLeds sent me 2 UV LEDs in with my order and i fitted them wihtout thinking as all the bulbs were white anyway.

    So i wont be able to sort this for a month as i go on holiday tomorrow, but i'll be checkin on here for any advice you guys can throw my way! Also who do you get all your LEDs from?

    Thank yooooou!

    Could be to do with the year of the car mate - the later models had an orange filter in the clock display and the MFD. The LED's will barely shine through. Its been covered alot - just do a quick search matey.
