    Mk3 Astra Sport experts....

ok, Ive got a cunning plan, but I need to know what engine sizes the Mk3 astra sport comes in...Im after a pineapple yellow 5 door one to use as a sleeper. Did they come with 2.0 litre engines at all? or is that the GSI's?

    any info appreciated

2.0 8v came in a CD astra. Unsure of power though. Might have been 115bhp.

so ffoeg my new engine (2.0i OHC 8v) apparently came from an sri, does that sound right? Did it come in anything else? oh and whats the engine called (sorry I'm a dunce) eg "c20LET" etc (I know its not one of them)

Excuse me I'm having a blonde moment today and being a dunce but in my defence I'm really not feeling at all well today either.

    Or a C20SEH if you're lucky...

The engine type will be stamped on there somewhere...usually along with the engine number on the bellhousing flange somewhere.

All MK3s had CATs so the 20SEH was not used.
