    Ex-Saxo owners this way! help!

Can someone clear this up please, my G/friends dad has a VTS and we found it to have a leaking front shock absorber. The car has been to shitroen and they claim to have replaced both sides. We've been under the car and found the strut legs to be the originals, the question is have these struts got replaceable cassettes so the work has likely to have been done or are they a one piece setup so the whole leg would need replacing?
    Cheers Rich.
