    Cool Anyone got a 2.0 DTi SRi Mk4 Astra or had one

    hi there ive just brought a 2.0 DTi SRi Mk4 Astra on a 2003 and havent driven it yet its in the garage having some work i want to know if they are quick they are accelaration, top end, miles per gallon, best mods performace wise etc cheers danny

    Mpg depends, but i usually drive 30miles a day and stick £20 in every week. Pullls pretty good betweem 2 and 3k rpm. Engine mods you're best doing a search for 'dieseltuninguk' 'veccy c' and 'airbox mod', will explain 3 good options. Good gains (about 25% IIRC) with the dieseltuning box.

    im gonna be happy with the MPG then used to gettin 60miles to a tenner from my old Corsa SRi 2001 and about same from my 1995 16v SRi and 1994 8v SRi was even worse. and ive spoke to DTUK and we are gonna sort one out for mine and fitted.

    well mines got full irmscher kit side skirts rear valance twin exit exhaust, standard tints, irmscher gear knob, irmsher handbrake cover, irmscher front grill, irmscher rear boot crome trim, irmscher rear tinted lights, irmscher center console, angel eyes, lowered dunno how much about 40mm id say, 17" wolfrace ikon plus wheels.

    im having it fully resprayed and all the new stuff ive brought put on should look nice its a 2003 in red hatchback.

    To a full tank expect 425 miles.. Depends on how u drive really Performance 60mph in 11secs, tops out at 120mph. Best mods are remap, decent exhaust and derestrict airbox.

    11sec 0-60 thought would be better then that and ill be expecting more then 120mph top i hope as i had 130mph out my corsa c standard with 2 mates init on a straight with no wind took ages from 120 to 130 but did it but wasnt revvin mad as was resticted by ecu unlike the old corsa i had wasnt, but day in day out got 120mph easy. cheers anyway mate for the info much appericates you got any pics of yours at all would like to see some DTi picks of other peoples
