    what a day i've had.

finished my shift @ 02.00 this morning and got 4 hrs sleep (only had 3 yesterday) so am well knackered. off to gillingham along with my lighter flywheel, clutch and quick shift linkage. after 5hrs got the bus back and must say the pedal is firmer but not ott. you could still drive it around in heavy traffic and hardly notice the difference. starting it up seems to be less of a strain as well
the old clutch plate was still looking healthy, i think it was the pressure plate that couldnt cope with the extra power/torque, it was slipping but not massivly. as i'm off to cornwall next month thought it best to change it instead of it letting me down. the bus also seems to pull through the gears better than before as well, which can only be a good thing... more power to the wheels
got home to find i had missed a delivery of 2x boxes and a long parcel, one of which box's had GM written on the outside yup my new VXR turbo has arrived going to try and get it fitted 2mora (weather permitting)

the long parcel was just a little bling as i ruined the standard heatshield i got a new one

Very nice indeed, bus is fairly coming along. Did you go for a standard clutch again?

the other VXR unit has a faulty oil seal on the exhaust side, as the bus needs to run on idle at shows to keep its hungry power system running, having it smoke is not realy an option. did not 'BUY' a new unit, the old supplier sent me another which i think is totaly brilliant of him i just need the weather to be on my side so i can fit it now.
