Question What to do in brum

I am having my wheels referbed on the 31st and so will be stuck in brum 4 the day by my self. I dont know brum at all and being a countryside lad am not that good in a city(ie using public transport), so, what can i do.

I thought i may try and find a cinima and watch x-men 3 but that wont use up all the day.

    suggestions welcome

You could check out the bull ring and do a bit of window shopping.
As Kitch said, visit the sea life centre,

Why dont you find out if there are any interesting events at the NEC, ICC or NIA.

Labtab is very close, certainly walking distance to Star City. All sorts to do in there, food, cinema, bowling, gym, casino, shops, bars etc etc. Also Just across from Star City is Lookers Vauxhall one of the biggest and best vauxhall dealers in Birmingham, they have all the VXR's there as well

the city centre is a short bus ride from labtab and there will be plenty of buses that go down that road which will take you into Brum. Just make sure you ask where to catch it back, as Birmingham is a bit odd in terms of where you catch the return buses.

Cadburys world is good but miles away its near me and I live 5 mile away from the city centre, great day out though if you get there. It would cost you about £15-£20 in a taxi from labtab though there and back!

Other idea would be the Millenium Point/Think Tank. Good museum, plenty to do and its on the out skirt of the bull ring (major shopping area).

Thanks all, wheels are now done and it looks amazing, will get some pics up or you will have to wait till pv.

I ended up just looking round the city center and buyng a dance mat in game station (am thinking it could be good fun after some beers)
