I'm leaving you all again... for an italian

I'm selling my second Astra. They're great cars and I always throw a fit at anyone that goes "oh" when you tell them you drive an Astra.

I wasn't thinking of changing until I saw an Alfa 156 in the autotrader. I've always wanted a silver car with red leather interior and this has it. I've also always wanted an Alfa Romeo. So I had a look at it, drove it and I was instantly hooked.

I've been on the forums and as long as you steer clear of the diesels or selespeeds then the reliability is fine and all the magazine reviews seem to back this up.

It's a real drivers car and I'm looking forward to picking it up on Thurs\Fri

I will keep visiting the forum though so hope i'm welcome

    By the way... HINT HINT

I will be selling the wheels, lights, Magnex backbox and grille off the Astra.

Lol yeah I've had 6 cars in about 15months so... I do a lot of miles so get bored easily and always want to change lol.

The alfa is a great drive though... 2.2 turns lock to lock and very direct steering... double wishbones at front etc.

I had two before my black coupe, a black 2litre twin spark (head gasket went at 40k) and a red Selespeed 2 litre twin that I did 136k in without any major problems. They depreciate very very quickly so hope you are getting a good deal. Good luck on anything to do with main dealers, they are notoriously crap and can be expensive for parts. Many about in scrappers though.

V6 is awesome (especially the GTA), but heavy drinkers

My brother has a silver 2.0 TS Sport pack 2 with a dark blue Momo leather interior.

It's a very nice car, as mentioned go for a 2.0TS with leather and avoid the "silly"speed gear box.

The only down sides to the car are:
    ugly 16" wheels
Non discript styling compared to the "lesser" models, a small boot spoiler and front lip would work wonders.

You can't deny that Alfa still style thier cars, unlike most other's that are produced in a wind tunnel.
Tell me what you've done, not what you're going to!
