    Seat re-trim

Hiya i was wondering how much retrims costed. I am looking to retrim all the seats in fake leather and normal material mix.

I would like some prices which you have encountered with varying materials including real lether, vinyl etc.

And some places in Birmingham which do these sorts of jobs cheaply.

    Thanx smokey.

Back in the 1960's we used to have Escorts etc with plastic fake leather seats as standard. Boy, were we glad when fabric upholstery came in!

What is the point of a re-trim using plastic?

you can call it plastic, but most people woudnt be able to tell the difference between some good quality fake leather and real lether.

anyway that was only a suggestion im mainly interested in some quality cloth.

    prices please??

to be honest, a lot of it is labour and you won't save bucket loads by going for some el cheapo leather substitute

(FYI i got a quote for about £350 to trim the front two seats if i supplied the material)
