    mk5 1.4 astra - number of studs?

    Would a 1.4 mk5 astra have 4 or 5 stud wheels?

    Thanks

i think its depends when made. the early 1.6 ones are 4 stud, but the ones now are 5! forking vauxhall and there stud fitment. why do they change? using parts off old mk4's? e.g my car is a 4 stud 1.6 sxi, it is a 2000, but like 2003 ones have 5 stud

there probably is a definative answer but i dont yet know, but no doubt someone will. maybe ffoeg! the astra sport encyclopedia...

Probably depends more on model spec. Chances are 1.4 Envoy (or whatever they call the pauper spec now) will be 4-stud on steels, but a 1.4 Design will be 5 stud on allys.
