    Vauxhall warranty

    since ive change the wheels and lowered my mk5 sxi does this mean the vauxhall warranty is now void i phoned up vauxhall customer care and they couldnt give me a answer just wondering if someone here could help many thanks.

    They might mention it... but as long as you don't touch the engine they're usually okay.
    I've got New bumper, coded everything else, CAT back system and they still do work under warranty for me.
    I'm after another Coupe Turbo

    It will all depend on your dealer

    Most things should still be covered but any suspension items, wheel bearings and driveshafts could be a grey area IMO

    nope... Mk 4, but Its still got a year left on its warranty, well bout 10 months anywayz!

    depends what they're looking at/repairing too, if they need to repair coil pack or somethin... they'll prob just go ahead and do that without looking for anything.
    But if they do say a suspension fork or something and see you've got different springs on, they might blame it on them, call you a fool and void your warranty???

    Stuff like that isn't warranty anyway - they'll say it's normal wear and tear. Like the chocolate bushings and the lard ARB link arms.

    43k on my Mk4, standard suspension and the link arms are ready to fall out, and it rattles like an Escort going round corners. Can't blame it too much, considering the roads I drive on, and the speed I drive at.

    6th Vauxhall (4th Astra) in 10 years...plus a couple of other sheds...
