front, you will need discs, pads and callipers.
rear, you will need a complete rear beam with the discs and callipers already on, i think.

how big do you wanna go? this depends on what car you get the brakes from. any bigger than about 256mm will mean paying over the odds for discs. as they dont make any bigger in 4 stud from factory.

for the rear the beam from sri, gsi etc, one with discs equiped.

if you get a rear beam of a 1.8 chances are it will be a 5 stud,

if it was me and you havnt already brought alloys for your car, find a scrappy with a 5 stud astra, the standard breaks are already bigger, think it 288mm or so, grab the rear beam which btw doesnt have to be changed, you can just swop the drums for the discs, and do yourself a 5 stud conversion, not sure how it will tie with the drive shafts but at least you will be able to later on fit 308mm discs (like me ) from the GSi astr, and then buy your new alloys!!! lol

    sounds simple almost!!!

Take it back, pre 1999 rear discs on 1.8 and below were 4 std.

You can just fit the rear hubs off a disc equipped 4 stud Astra if you wish to get rid of your drums. You'd need to replace the handbrake cable as well as they are different.

I can get the complete rear beams with 4 stud discs, ABS as well if that's needed, complete with calipers etc

PM me if your interested. Complete cost of conversion including handbrake cable is approx £200 though.
