This question never fails to get asked at least once a week.

There is no 'cheap' insurance company as such, whats cheap for one person might be a terrible price for someone else. The best way is to do the leg work and phone round some companies. Theres a good contact list on here somewhere.

Having said all that - Adrian Flux are suppost to be good with the mods.

Ahh, in that case do try flux. Find it strange that Quinn dont charge extra for mods, but wont insure a soft-top.

EDIT: www.its4me.co.uk... My mate recomended them to me for when my policy runs out.

you have to remember it's not just about how much the premium is though....

it's worth paying a little more for a company that comes recommended imo, as saving a couple of quid is not worth the hassle of a company that is a nightmare to deal with come claim time.

that said, do shop around.... HIC, Adrian Flux, Tescos all seem to have done good quotes for people i know

i just took out a policy with flux....

they did mention a discount for being a member of a community (astra-sport), but i have no idea how much it actually was... did they tell you how much it saved?
