Z20LET astra to 318 beemer? Wouldn't be me.

Surely it wouldn't be causing you grief once it's finnished anyway? I would stick with the Astra tbh, should be great

(Also, depending on what you're doing to it other than the transplant I wouldn't think you would get up to £5k for it, that's coupe turbo money.)

Hmm, I always recommend the Nissan 200SX for that sort of money. RWD fun and jap reliability

Nearly got one instead of my coupé, only issue was the insurance was steep.

Andy, you're sticking a turbo lump in a car....and you're saying that changing the carpet and headlining is a hassle? lol! At the end of the day it's your choice, but personally, I'd rather be driving a one off turbo'd car, than a clit car BMW.

stick at it mate, surely everyone that undergoes a big project has ups and downs ( ask mr Guest ) - but if you stick it through it all becomes worthwhile. you might as well you've done most of it. Once it's done, if you feel you want to sell it atleast you've done it and you'll never regret having sold it early. better to regret doing something than not doing something. i.e. go for it,.
