I was quoted £150 for smooth tailgate, not including solinoid or numberplate/light relocation! their are some fibreglass numberplate 'resses thingys' on the market to sink into the rear bumper aswell which allso has the cutout for the light!
Not sure about patching up door mouldings, allthough if u were to get all that done u'd probably be best off getting a respray!

    sorry about spelling etc

depending on where u get the work done u could pay anything from 150 to 500 really!

just make sure the boot is welded up and not done using filler and fibreglass

    too much. lol.
thats the kind of thing you don't want to get wrong cuz they'll have weld a thin plate over where the number plate was cuz filler will just come out after a while. specailist "modifying" bodyshop job if you ask me.
and then you can't just stick the number plate on the bumper cuz it'll look... well, "stuck" onto the bumper so yeah, as Chris said you'll need to adapt your rear bumper.
    lots of work!

You can allso get a cheaper, less perminent flushed tailgate that is stuck on over whole back panel-not my cup of tea but cheaper and no rust worries,im sure someone on here has it and it looks fine!

Thanx for that! Im not too sure cuz it says that it wont stick out, but isnt that physically impossible, it has to stick out at least a little past the rest of the car.

I reckon that is the best option and it seems the cheapest on 40 quid!!
