    Air-Con not cold please advise

I have just removed the pollen filter which was so filthy and and also had some leaves fall out. I have then put the air con on at full blast to blow any remaining grime etc. I havent put a new filter back on just going to halfords now but its no different in temperature. The car has only done 33k milage. Surely it wont need re-gassing? I bought the car with just 15k on it. Its not had cold air like since bought it. My mate has a zafira and his is sooo cold. Any suggestions?

    Cheers

Might need it mate, you might have a leak where the seals have dryed out. there is no such thing as a perfect seal either so may well need re gassing.

Prob needs re-gassing mate - it's not really dependant on mileage, more on age, but you may have a gas leak somewhere

i was told that the air con has to be used every 6 months to keep it working properly otherwise it needs a re-gas, not sure if that is correct or not.

ideally every 2 weeks - if not at least once a month.

Check the airon pipe under the airbox, that seems to get a hole rubbed in it from the bottom of the airbox moving about.

If it is that, it's a pretty easy fix.
