    Unhappy back to vauxhall i go

    just come to change my alloys changed 3 of them and cannot get the 4th off cause of the locking wheel nuts i have tried that much the tool will no longer fit, so i called the aa and he has told me will have to have it air chizled off but i aint got a clue how much this will cost me but will vauxhall be at fault as they was the last one to have put that wheel on and they air gunned nut back on please help

    They may say you damaged them yourself and thats why they wont come off.

    but how could i damage them the aa ptl said it had to be over 110 newton meters to damage locking wheel nut key, so they either put it on too tight or bad locking wheel nut key

    hey mate im in exactly the same position - some dickhead put it on with a rattle gun ive f.ucked the lockin key!

    yeah only need 110Nm so feck knows how tight it is. good luck

    any idea how i'd get mine off - seeing as it has a spinning collar (even tho the collar dont spin as its pushed too tight onto the rim!)

    they don't like being taken on and off to often... the key munched up a mates ones!
    (and no they wern't on too tight)

    Luckily the last one came out before giving up the goose and new set replaced them (non Vaux I think)
