Question Irmscher Back Box bolt holes are broke

Whilst under my car yesterday doing a bit of maintenance i noticed a problem with my Irmscher exhaust.

It seems the Irmscher back box section where it bolts up to the main exhaust pipe has rusted away some how.

(The Actual bolt bit where the springs are!)

It's extremly annoying as the actual main exhaust systems pipe and pipe from the back box itself are still in really good condition with no rust. its just the clamp bit that bolts pulling the two pipes together.

Has anyone come across this problem and managed to resolve it?

I could really do with your help on this one gents.

If there's much metal left you can drill and tap the next size up, and use bigger bolts.

Or just put nuts on, I've done a few.

take the car to somewhere like powerflow and they will be able to fix it by fitting a new clamp or something similar
