apparently aftermarket ones arent as good as the standard ones which are on the car. dont ask me why, but i remember a post about it not long ago.

I've got a Bailey chav valve fitted, the only advantage i've noticed is changing gear at hi revs past really old people

Personally I wouldn't bother, had one for a while on mine but the car runs a lot smoother with just the standard one. Plus the novelty of the whooosh noise wears off after a while!!

i got one on my SRi-T

advantages - it sounds good imo

disadvantages - i seem to rev the car higher before changing gear sometimes because i like the sound, so my MPG has dropped from 31.5 to 30.4 since i fitted it

all down to personal preference really, if you like the sound get one, otherwise dont bother, you dont get any other difference from my experience.
