    Star Silver paint codes

    Anyone help?
I am after the various paint codes for star silver paints and also the year of manufacture for each different one!!
(i know there have been several different variations on star silver over the years!!)

A quick search for "star silver paint codes" found these words of wisdom...

    There are Three Star Silvers.

    1 - 88L/L138
    2 - 82L/L147
    3 - L157/Z157

Look in your drivers door shut to find your paint code.

If you have a local paint supplier (ring a local bodyshop and ask them where they get there paint from), they will have three or five (depending on the set) of colour match swatches for each, they should be able to colour match your original paint.

Re my quote in Ffoegs reply.

You can substitute the L for a Z so Z147 is the same as L147....Star Silver 2.

Don't use Halfords paint it's more expensive than from Vauxhall and ins't 100% colour match!
