Hi all, first post here!
I'm currently looking at a 1.8 SXi as a replacement for my 306 dTurbo S.
I pootled down my local dealer today and spotted a W plate 1.8 SXI in vgc, and thought i'd have a poke around.
Its got 30,000 miles on it, one previous owner and its in very very good condition. Up for £4200, reckon this is a reasonable price considering its a Vauxhall Dealer?
I would just like to know a bit more about the SXi, where does it sit in the spec line up, i think its one below the SRi, but im not sure what difference th SRi gave you? Bootlip spoler? ABS maybe?
Also, does the sxi have a trip computer (gives u mpg readout).
Errm what else, oh. Whats the chances of finding a GSi front bumper for it, i love the look of these and it will be on my list of things to do along with alloys (really like the new sri wheels on the vectra-c) and the sri boot spoiler, and i'l have to do something about the boring exhaust.
Any recommendations on sourcing/fitting these parts? Im in Swindon if anyone happens to be local and know a good supplier?
I'm gonna go tomorrow take it for a test drive, see how much i can haggle including a trade in and have a hard think about it.
BTW, i'm going for the SXi over the SRi purely for insurance, being 18 with 0 ncb its already very steep.
Cheers for any information guys!
