    FAO: Ffoeg

Hi, I was reading your post on the Gaz shocks and you mentioned the 'speed bump creak'. My coupe turbo seems to have this as well. The noise is coming from the front, what do I need to do to get rid of it??????

P.S I posted this here just in case anyone else could shed any light on this annoying problem!!! Basically, every time I drive over a speed bump, theres a load creaking noise coming from the front suspension. Could it be the bushes or is it more likely its the shocks themselves????

    Cheers!

I'll left you off this time

But they seem to have cured it - and looking at the old ones, one of the rubbers had popped off and the ball bit rusty inside the socket

One nut at the top and one nut at the bottom.

You need a 19mm open ended spanner to counter hole the flats on the link, and the just whip the nuts of with a socket.

The top is easy to do, but the bottom is a bit tight toget at - but VX left a hole in the lower wishbone to get a socket though. It's also easier if you undo the top strut nut so you can drop the suspension out of the way o get a bit more room to play with
