    replacing rear pads

hi all..tried to change the rear pads today and failed misarably .can anyone tell me how the hell i release the caliper from the disk???
i tried tapping the caliper off with a rubber hammer but it would only go so far.

how do you wind the piston back with the caliper still on the disk..sorry for the blonde moment lads. but theres just no room between the pad and piston to wind or lever it back to allow enough room for removal of the caliper.

and yes i have the cap off the reseivoir.

    cheers all
