    Well it's here..

    Just picked up the Convertible.

It's a Flame Red Linea Rossa Convertible - and very nice it is too.

I've noticed a couple of things though which i need to get sorted:

Dash bulbs are out - only half the speedo lights up, how easy is this to do myself?

There is a strange noise when i turn the steering - even when standing still. Wondering if this may be the steering rack?

Also i've only got one key - and it's a normal key (as in two buttons). I thogught the convertibles had a 3rd button for the hood? Could it be i only have the spare and not the master?

Anyways i'll get some pics up when i get a chance..

iirc you just hold the open or close button the key for longer to operate the hood.

    Thanks Tom.

I actually just realised if after speaking to Vauxhall, serves me right for not reading the manual...

It's quite trick actually, i sat at the bedroom window messing with it - much to the amusement of my neighbours LOL!

I had this noise with my Accord Type R last year which is why is suspect the Steering Rack - Honda replaced that under the warranty.

When you go lock to lock it makes a slight clang/bang and you can feel it through the wheel. I've booked it in at vauxhall for Tues to have the interior bulbs done, new spare key programmed and for them to check out the noise.

I'll go take a pic now actually...post it soon.

OK not too sure how we got onto hoods and bonnets, but the answer to both your questions is... errr... No?

I put the grille on just now - very quickly. Here are a couple of pics. I think I need to paint the bit behind the grille black..what do you think?

Also the passenger side of the front bumper is coming away a little from it's place - the driver side is perfect. Does anyone know if i can clip this back in easily or is it a job for the body shop?
