    o/s back wheel seems to be cambered outwards

    alrite guys i posted up my problem about my really bad tyre wear on my rear o/s wheel on the inside, tonite ive noticed that the wheel doesnt seem to be sat as straight as the other one on the back, im really gutted because i think something must be bent before i bought the car from network q, does any1 have an idea of what it could be

    i know but you cant adjust the camber at the rear so i presume something is damaged or worn and i dont want my wallet to be empty

    as coo said, take it back to NQ and get them to check and fix it, i was down k-ford autos the other day and a new MK5 Sri came in the bloke said the cars driving funny, same problem and wheel as yours funnily enogh! dont know if theres a production problem?

    mines a mk4 coupe thou, am wandering if something happend before i bought the car and wandering how complicated the rear setup is on astras and how hard is it to replace parts

    could have been jacked up in the wrong place and bent the rear beam??

    I've sold a rear beam to Windrew in Warrington, I'm also selling him another one this weekend. They are 4 stud rear disc beams. However he's probably only used the hubs and I'm sure if you ask nicely he'll let you buy one of the old beams cheap. It sounds like a bent beam to me. Saw a program not long ago on tele where the rear beam on a Zaffy was knackered, they just replaced it with one from a scrappy and it was fine again.

    I'm fairly sure the beams will be the same on all the Astra Mk4s.
    52 Astra G 1.8, 18" Mille Miglia alloys, 325mm Brembo 4 pot conversion, Coupe leather interior, Raid strut brace, Whiteline rear ARB, Irmscher bits (skirts, Carbon steering wheel, Bonnet extension, M3 mirrors, boot & roof spoiler), Reiger Rear Diffuser & Front Bumper, Koni Adj. dampers, 35/30 Vogtland springs, Duplex quad exit ASCAR stainless exhaust.
