    Question Mk4 Astra OPC

I have done a search in Google, and found mixed up results as to what the OPC Astra was, and what spec. I know the mk5 is what we have as a VXr, but unfortunately "OPC" is too short to search on here, so I have to ask:

    What was the OPC?

    What spec was it?

    Does anyone have pics?

    Thanx

OPC stands for Opel Performance Centre

First there was the OPC I which was the tunred vesion of the X20XEV re-named the X20XER thet thumped out 165BHP

Then they named the OPC II which Vauxhall took and named the Astra GSi

Now there is the Mk5 OPC

    Excellent thanks Coo/Mark.

Found everything I was looking for. Now that I know I'm not completely de-frauding myself, I am gonna go-ahead and get OPC rear and door badges to match the Opel mud flaps and Opel/OPC grille!

Just need to do a bit of engine tuning to get the required BHP to be a mk1 OPC.

I know, was just drooling over them. But at £1200 a pop, I'll be buying a lookalike and having it re-trimmed to match!!!

Thats what I thought about doing.... Use the MK4 GSi seats and get some of the material from the rear seats of the early SXi/SRi and trim to match, and hey presto you have OPC I seats....
