    Emissions Warning Light/Fuel Trim Malfunction

Has anyone else got the emissions control warning light coming up on their dash? I had this light come up last week, came on for a few days then went back off again.
Then it came back so took it to Vauxhall they said it was a "Fuel Trim Malfunction" code P0170, but after inspection they said this fault was not present. Drove the car out of Vauxhall yesterday and today its come back. Has anyone had this fault before or know anything about it? Its a MK4 Coupe Turbo Z20LET.

Sounds odd, it might be one of those things where the car decides to scare you all of a sudden.

    P0170 Fuel trim (FT) , bank 1 - malfunction
Intake leak, air system, fuel pressure/pump, injector(s), evap canister purge valve, HO2S

Basically could be to do with the first 02 sensor ( if two fitted ) poss pre cat and after cat set up.
bank 1 should refer to the 1st 02 sensor but not always the case, especially if only one fitted !!
This isn't a def fault fix though as we've had this code on other vehicles and not always the sensor, can get complicated................
