What gets my blood boiling is that its because of the UK and US government that the prices are gonna go up as they a fannying about with Iran, Joe public does not deserve to have to fork out more and more money because the western world is shite at nagotiating with other countries....

I rekon that since its the government at fault, they should absorb the rise by the means of a temp reduction in the TAX..

Nice wish there Sploodge. But really, do you think it will happen?

Its okay for the yanks. They have their own supply of oil and low tax as it is. On another message board they were complaining that it was around Ł2.50 per gallon, whats that about Ł1.75? They have it cheap compared to us.

Yup, I filled up in Nottingham today. Was 99.9p a litre for diesel. Gone mad. By the time I was back home though, it was down to about 96.9p a litre.

Fuel's always cheaper down south for some reason.

Am I sure what? I have no idea what your fuel prices are like. But I can get diesel for 96.9p in Portishead. But was 99.9p in Nottingham today.

89.9?? That's U/L though. I never buy the stuff. The Astra takes the diesel and the 300 only runs on North Sea's finest.

Its 95.9p down here. They find the smallest excuse to rise it. Some oil worker dropped their lunchbox and it's put an extra penny on petrol, it sucks.

They always end those petrol protests too early before the price of petrol is at a low level. Which means each time they hike it up, it never returns to what it was before and the british public just swallow the new price.
