    what temp does the thermostat open?

    on normal and cool stats?

    standard is 92 - 106

    cool stat is 82 -92

    not really sure

    y do u say tha

    when i had standard stat it ran at 88

    with cool stat runs at 82

    i was told never to give it the gun if the temp is under 80

    If i told you never to boot it unless it was at 85 then what would you do?

    engines are designed to run at a specific temperature, and the oil is also... lowering the running temp it wont gain a thing, unless its running to hot to start with...

    cooler running stats are a waste of time imo. They may open earlier, but they do not lower the running temp of your engine as the running temp is higher anyway and is governed by the colling effect of air entering the rad open surface area. Your engine will therefore always find it's own running temp, regardless of what stat it has - just my opinion.

    Put the spare cash to mod more worth while.

    ah well was only £12, thought might aswell fit one when its all apart as knowing my luck the original would go when i had it in
