    Lowered at last!!!!

Well after driving around with a suspension kit in the boot for the last 6weeks - I finally got round to having it fitted this mornin! woooohoooo - definitely sitting a lot nicer now - supposed to be 40/30 drop - front looking a little high but Im sure it'll settle down a tad over next few days/weeks. Only been done an hour so cant really complain.
Kit only cost £150 brand new so time will tell if its upto scratch.
Just thought I'd share my new found lowered status with the AS masses and heres a few pics to look at.

Looks nice - wouldn't be surprised if the rear has been dropped more than youu have been quoted. The wheel looks nicely tucked into the arches to me!

The best thing about lowering astras is to get rid of the 'off roader' style gap on the front arch - hence the 60/40 kits around!

nah - just a cheap kit from flea bay! Made in Holland and TUV approved and all that stuff so should be ok - couldnt afford much else after forking out for 18s and angels and soon HIDs. Haven't "tested" the handling yet but should be a vast improvement. Roll on the next meet/shows! Will be glad not to be the one sporting the 4x4 look!

cool - they look like koni's through the wheels - so they certainly look the part go round a roundabout fast then you'll really feel how much better it is. just take it easy over railway crossings and cobbled streets!

    Looks alot better

though remember the front arch is cut higher than the rear so it won't look as low on the front as the back does
