Anyone run EBC discs and redstuff pads?

Just placed a sizeable order which will see all 4 discs and the pads replaced.

The new discs are slotted and grooved which is cool, but the pads are the sticking point at the minute.

Ive had greenstuff pads before and they were OK, so naturally I opted for those.
After speaking with EBC they recommend the Redstuff pads - which I ordered in the end.

Anyone got any experience with this set up? Happy with the performance etc?

To be honest I wasnt going to change this area of the car, but hey ho

I have a brand new set of the EBC disks (front) and the green stuff pads sat in my kitchen to go on the G when the time is right - I must have had them 6 months now!!

I havent any expereince of red stuff pads - I know Stu did the full research thing before we bought the green ones.

Fingers crossed that they will perform well - not that I hammer it and make sudden stops anyway...

When I enquired with EBC, they said on anything over 200 BHP its advisable to go for the redstuff. I know a few people who have used the green stuff pads and were not too impressed, and if you use them heavily, they still make quite a lot of dust .

I guess it will be a case of suck it and see Byron. I know its not much now, but I believe that mintex do some good pads, a friend of mine has them in his 320 BHP impreza, and is pretty chuffed with them.

The red ones put out far more dust than the green. My mate tried both on his civic type r and the reds are much better, but atleast 30% more dust. They cost more as well, and wear out faster.

Im running on EBC black's as they do the job well enough for my liking, and save me a lot of money.
