What tyres do you use on your GSi's 17" standard rims

Hi all, just wondering what your preferences are for tyres on the Zaffy GSi. Having only recently got my car, it has a right old mix and match on there at the moment. Only one tyre is a decent brand (Michelin Pilot), the rest are nasty, and will hopefully wear out sooner rather than later!!

The rear two are completely different patterns too. I am surprised it handles as well as it does at present with the mixture on it!!

Just trying getting a feel to whats best for the Zaffy. I know what everyone thinks is best on the Astra (F1's and Toyo's), but not so sure they will suit the Zaffy. Funny enough I have never put F1's or Toyo's on my Astra - I need a tyre that does a decent mileage.

What do you reckon to the dunlops on the Zaffy? I have a pair of 9000's on my Astra and I have to say I am very impressed with them. They look like F1's and certainly out perform the NCT5's on the front.

I am tempted to get the Dunlop 9000's for the Zaffy too (although don't need any tyres yet as all have 6-8mm on). Michelins Pilots seem to be the recommended tyre from Vauxhall.

All cars seem to suit different tyres from my experience, so what suits the Astra may not suit the Zaffy.

SP9000 isn't a good wearing tyre though - the back ones on my Astra only lasted 32k, the fronts half that.

The Bridgestones I have on now are lasting much better - 10k-ish on the front and they've still 5mm tread left. I'm using the Potenza RE720.
