    Z20LET Throttle Housing?

    Hi , just wondering, is there a gasket under the throttle housing? Im just wondering because Im having the housing polished up and need to remove it.

    No Jon its just a face fit part.
    No gasket needed.

    The only thing there is a green rubber seal. Just check the condition of it should be ok though.

    Would smoothing the inside of the throttle body make any difference?
    Or is it supposed to be like that to disrupt the airflow so it mix's better with the fuel?

    Its not on the top part you polish. Its on the piece you bolt it to.
    Well there is on my 04 plate anyway.

    There is one on either side of the throttle body as you say Ady.

    So if you remove your 'top hat' make sure you dont dislodge the 'O' rings and ruin them by tightening them between the faces
