    mk3 front grill

    hello again people, wot i wanna do is get rid of the vauxhall badge and mesh grill the front, would i be able to do it myself with not much trouble or would it be easier if i just go out and buy 1?

    depends what you want really mate. most people on the mk3 owners club smoke the V TBH.

    you can mesh the grill but the plastic clips that hold the grill on are part of the grill so that will cause problems. Venom motorsport do a mesh grill at £50 i think also FK do a nice one

    There's quite a bit of effort involved to get rid of it on the V-grille MK3's. oOne the V is off these a chuck missing form the bottom edge, and on top edge - so both these would need makking up/filling/sanding back.

    I thought of doing it on mime, but couldn't be arsed, so ended up coving the V and bage holder in carbon film......

    I got a brand new one from eBay, £15. Doesn't come with a badge though, so get one from a scrappy.

    Better still, get a complet unbroken grille and headlights (different shape) from a breakers.

    Standard - but Nice.

    ok cool cheers people, my brother was down the scrappy yesterday and he said there were a few mk3 astras down there, cheers again
