    Question Heat Resistant Paint

I am in the process of stripping the standard paint off and cleaning up the crossover pipe and throttle housing from my engine. I was originally going to polish them but have decided to re-paint them body coloured now.
Am I going to need a special heat resistant paint due to the under bonnet temperatures? Or will i be ok with just standard vauxhall spray can paint?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Tom

Normal paint should be ok but if you need some heat resistant paint then your local automotive paint supplier should be able to mix it up for you, I just got some for my engine block. You could always get it powder coated.
